Low Elliptic roof LFX.
The 2SB bogie on the left is an earlier version without axlebox guides.
The diagonal bracing is also a different angle to the later and more common version on
the right side of the picture.
Photo below shows the High
Elliptic roof LFX with 2AD bogies. Both pictures show the post 1946
colour scheme. Code letters to be added.
The
wheels are my own exact scale reproductions but are not available commercially,
they are there to highlight the bogie detail for reference only. Couplings are not included in
basic price of kits, refer to PRODUCT DETAILS.

Below: Drawings of 2SB bogie components
with photos of assembled model showing bare etched metal & urethane
parts before & after painting in grey etch primer. Lower pair of
photos show finished earlier and later versions of this bogie finished in
black etch primer and toned down with a thin overspray of brown.
The photos show
the bogie as used in conjunction with screw couplings, for Kadee (No. 156)
coupler arrangement, refer to lower right hand corner of drawing.
